Morse Park, the original "Lakewood Park," is a gorgeous, mature 20-acre park that predates the city's establishment. Three baseball fields, six lighted tennis courts, two volleyball courts, a playground, a stand-alone outdoor pool facility, picnic shelters, and plenty of shady grass areas may all be found there. Sports at Morse Park

Morese Park Pool is only open during the summer months. The federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) programme provided cash to Lakewood. CDBG offers annual funds to states, cities, and counties based on a formula to help them establish successful urban areas.

Three baseball/softball fields, two football/soccer fields, six tennis courts with lights, and two sand volleyball courts are all available to rent at Morse Park.

Morse Park Shelter #1, located near the west parking lot at Carr Street and W 20th Avenue, is the largest shelter. It can seat up to 200 people and has 20 tables and two grills.
