The Eiber neighborhood is located in northern Lakewood, Colorado. It is primarily comprised of single-family residences on bigger lots, equestrian properties, urban agriculture, and gardening, with clusters of townhomes and apartments along with business districts.
Wadsworth Boulevard, Colfax Avenue, Oak Street, and 6th Avenue define the Eiber neighborhood. This is an older community in Lakewood with tree-lined streets and a distinct vibe.
Eiber is an older community that retains its charm. Numerous homes originating from the early 1900s remain in fair shape. The numerous front and rear yard gardens pay homage to Eiber’s agricultural background. The lots are typically big, with many homes maintaining between a half and a full acre of land. The area was formally designated in 2001 as part of the City of Lakewood’s neighborhood development project, becoming the city’s seventh neighborhood. The Eiber Neighborhood Association was formed to facilitate open communication between the neighborhood and the city and other governmental entities, to facilitate access to a wide range of funding sources for neighborhood services and resources, and to assist the city in making land-use judgments that are in the neighborhood’s best interests. As part of this procedure, the Assoc established the Eiber Neighborhood Plan, which has led the Assoc in its attempts to enhance the quality of life for its people near Lakewood CO.
