FAQ for Invisalign Express

Who can be treated with Invisalign Express?

Invisalign Express has similar benefits to Invisalign but at a faster treatment time. That being said, Invisalign has its limitations. Below are the criteria for you to be a candidate:

  • Minimal rotation of the front teeth
  • Less than 2 mm of midline correction needed
  • Less than 2 mm of crowding or spacing per arch
  • Less than 1.5 mm of expansion needed per arch

If you don't meet the following criteria, then, traditional Invisalign express will be the appropriate treatment plan.

How many trays do I need for Invisalign Express?

Invisalign Express needs 5 to 10 trays to complete the treatment.

How does Invisalign Express compare with Invisalign?

Invisalign Express is an excellent option to correct minor orthodontic problems. For instance, if you have problems like mild relapse from your previous treatment, this is the best option for you. Because this treatment is great for minor correction, Invisalign Express has faster treatment time. Patients will wear the aligners for 10 to 20 weeks.

Invisalign, on the other hand, is able to treat most of the orthodontic problems that metal braces can treat. It has a longer time frame and the patient will wear 25 or more aligners that need to be replaced every two weeks.

How much does Invisalign Express cost?

Because Invisalign Express will need a few aligners, it costs less than the traditional Invisalign treatment. The cost of Invisalign Express ranges from $1800 and $3,500. The cost of the treatment depends on the location, doctor's fees, and insurance.
